Homework & Training Programs
When your trainer meets with you a training program will be set and you will be given specific things to work on. All cases are different so this will vary from case to case. Your dog’s success is based on your ability to carry out the program as laid out by your trainer. Training is a commitment that should be taken seriously and if you cannot commit to working with your dog several times a week, and per the instructions of your trainer, your dog’s program will not succeed.
If you have any questions, do not understand or cannot do some of the things laid out by your trainer please discuss this immediately with your trainer so that s/he can accommodate you and help you carry out the homework as laid out. Your trainer is always available to make your program successful so that you may attain your goals via email and/or phone. We always encourage our clients to let their trainer know of any concerns or challenges at anytime during and after your program. We are always there to help!
Services Fees & Payment
We offer two types of service fees—packages and pay-as-you-go. You are required to pay for your training when you meet with your trainer for both packages and pay-as-you-go options.
Payment of Services
If you choose a package option, you must pay for the package fee in full to your trainer at the time of arrival for your first scheduled lesson. If you choose a pay-as-you-go option, you pay your trainer each time s/he arrives for your scheduled lesson.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds except in the unfortunate event that the dog passes away before the training has been completed.
Completion of Training
Training packages must be completed within 90 days of the first training lesson for 3-Packs and 120 days for 5-Packs. If packages are not completed in this time frame all training is forfeited. To pick up training again a new program with appropriate fees will apply.
Payment Types
We accept cash, check and credit cards. Credit cards can be swiped at time of service or paid online through Paypal.
Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows
Your trainer will email you at the beginning of each week and give a list of her currently scheduled clients. You are required to confirm that you received the email and that the day/time s/he has you scheduled is correct. We recommend scheduling lessons no more than 14 days apart to maintain the training and consistency*.*Some programs will be spaced out differently, depending on the program, your trainer will discuss this with you.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel a scheduled lesson. If a lesson is cancelled in less time a $25 cancellation fee may apply. We respect emergencies and understand last-minute things come up, so please contact your trainer as soon as you know that you will not be able to meet for your scheduled lesson.
No-Shows
Should your trainer show up for a scheduled lesson and no one is home/available the first offence is that the lesson will be forfeited and counted as a completed training lesson. For a second offence all training will be forfeited and a cancellation fee of $25 will apply.
